Tom Stoppard's "Czech" play and the Russian Trilogy - note for the theatres
Tom Stoppard's play Rock´n´roll, selling out almost hopelessly at the National Theatre, is available for production in other theatres in the Czech Republic for royalties only (no requirement to pay a deposit) from now until 2011!
Still waiting for its Czech opening is the previous trilogy by Tom Stoppard, The Coast of Utopia. For the American premieres, the playwright prepared new final texts of the three plays about the Russian political and literary emigration in the 19th Century. Revised versions are available from Aura-Pont to those interested in producing the Czech premieres.
