The Tales of Common Insanity are definitely becoming the most successful Czech play in Germany since Havel's era in the ‘70s and ‘80s. The German premiere in Dresden raised a wave of interest in producing the play at other theatres. In the nearest future, the play will be produced in at least three other German theatres:
a) Deutsch-Sorbishes Volkstheater Bautzen, opens 22 April 2006, director Michael Funke,
b) Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, opens 30 April 2006, director Sandriene Hutinet,
c) Ulmer Theater, Ulm, opens 17 March 2007
