His play Female Friends opened at Astorka, directed by Roman Polák, in 2006, and became an immediate and unusual hit thanks to Weiss' sophisticated feel for lively dialogue, inspired dramatic situations and his exceptional ability to write complex female characters. Female Friends will have its Czech premiere in September at the Chamber Fidlovačka Stage in Prague, the director is Juraj Deák. Bajmann Brothers was shortlisted in the prestigious Slovak playwriting competition, Dráma 2006.
