Devaux Dominique


Born in Copenhagen the young Danish mezzosoprano was educated in classical voice and drama at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (diploma). She continued her studies at the Opera Studio at the Temple University in Philadelphia, USA. Hereafter she participated in many
master classes with Christa Ludwig, Mitsuko Shirai, Michael Eliassen, Ian Adam and more.
Currently she is working with maestro Antonio Carangelo.
Since 1990 she has appeared in a wide range of roles in operas/operettas such as "Carmen", "Suor Angelica", "Madame Butterfly", "Magic Flute", "Hänsel und Gretel", "Candide", "Fledermaus" and in concerts/recitals throughout Europe and the USA.


She speaks English, French, Danish, German, Czech fluently and a little Italian.
Dance: classical ballet, modern dance, step, jazz.
