April visitors to Aura-Pont
Elyse Dodgson, Royal Court Theatre's International Associate Director, chose a Czech participant for the London theatre's International Residency (her choice, Kateřina Rudčenková, was announced at this year's Alfréd Radok Awards Night.) Mrs Dodgson also met Ondřej Černý, Managing Director of the Prague National Theatre, and its Artistic Director, Michal Dočekal.
During his visit to Prague, Edward Einhorn, the director of last Autumn's successful Havel Festival in New York, discussed with Daniela Gadasová, the managing director of Aura-Pont proposals for several new projects. Mr Einhorn also gave both Václav Havel (whom he met personally) and Aura-Pont a rich collection of images and press documents from the Festival. He and his colleagues from the Untitled Theatre also had inspiring conversation with Havel's "court director", Andrej Krob.
