The Václav Havel Library is organizing a series of public readings aimed at presenting a profile of works by the world-famous author, playwright and politician since 1950s to the present day. The cycle of readings, under the title
Ústně více (More when I see you), will start in autumn in Prague. The project will start on September 26 with the reading of a less known Havel play
The Conspirators . At the same time, a permanent retrospective exhibition about the former President's life and work will be inaugurated at the former Herget brick factory at Prague's Lesser Town.
Each of the six presentations will centre on individual decades documenting not only the ex-President's creative work, but also the time and conditions under which each of the featured works was created. The programme will include other less known works and his correspondence with important personalities in Czech society.
