Following the excitement over the first performance of Andrej Krob's version of The Beggars' Opera (1 November in the Žižkov Theatre in the presence of the author), this play by Václav Havel found itself on another Prague stage on 9 November, the stage of the Švanda Theatre, directed by Michal Lang (this time the author attended the dress rehearsal). In this way two Prague theatres anticipated Václav Havel's approaching 70th birthday.
